About US
In February of 2009 we
began doing business as Elite Transitions©,
a registered DBA of McLaughlin & Associates, Inc. to better identify
us in the marketplace while placing emphasis on the hallmarks of our
Relocation Project Management, the 3 P’s of People, Performance, &
Productivity.
MCLAUGHLIN & ASSOCIATES was
originally primarily a facility consulting firm.
We have been facility tailors and tenant advocates, providing
strategic facilities analysis, programming and design, project
management, relocation management, and other related specialized
services to those involved in a project team at various stages in
the life of the project.
However, our reputation
and resultant referrals have come from Relocation Project
Management, and that development has stimulated the change of name
to Elite Transitions.
In the area of relocation and
program management, we offer a unique perspective to our clients
based on many years of experience in managing, designing, and
building facilities, in various environments.
We understand the role of a building space as a tool in the
productivity of its individual users.
We understand the critical details necessary to ensure full
functionality immediately on the day a space goes into full
operation for the first time.
From the Beginning...
Our firm has been in operation since January of 1995
originally as a sole proprietorship, but in January of 2004, M&A was
reclassified as an S-Corp.
We are family owned
with two partners, headed by Larry McLaughlin as our President.
In February of 2009 we began doing business as Elite
Transitions, a registered DBA of McLaughlin & Associates, Inc. to
better identify us in the marketplace while placing emphasis on the
hallmarks of our Relocation Project Management, the 3 P’s of People,
Performance, & Productivity.
But it is still
important to understand how we got to where we are today.
Our founder, after many years in the facility development
field, desired to coach companies in avoiding the pitfalls that come
from the handoffs between disciplines as a project proceeds through
the design process.
Without such assistance, it is almost impossible for a company to
move into the building they originally envisioned before planning
began. The normal design
and construction process provides ample opportunity for each handoff
to be much like the proverbial “phone game” with critical
information lost at each juncture.
Since our
founding, it has been our objective to bring whatever
capabilities and experience a project requires to our client’s
table. It has been our
founder’s belief that our success would be built on integrity and
exceptional attention to the details that will make or break
a project.
Upon that foundation M&A, and
now Elite Transitions, developed a reputation of unusual excellence,
including being known, not only for our attention to detail,
communication skills, and patience with end users, but also for
highly organized moves with minimal down time.
We are told both by our clients and many of their vendors
that no one else offers the premium level of services or the results
that we provide to our clients.
To achieve these standards, we do not rely solely on
our internal capacity or capabilities, although they are
significant. We have a
strategic alliance group of consultants that we draw upon to expand
the team needed for each situation.
This allows us to easily increase our team size and expertise
as required, greatly increasing our capacity.
